The Introduction to Export Controls – Basics class will provide a beginner’s overview of US government export control regulations. It will focus on the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and how they apply to activities at Princeton University. This class is open to all members of the University community (faculty, researchers, staff, and students).

Topics include:
- Shipping materials out of the US 
- Questions to consider when exporting
- International Travel
- Working with entities/individuals that have been debarred by the US government
- Fundamental Research Exclusion
