As a Shared Grants Manager, Caroline McHugh-Sitren provides pre- and post-award administration for a diverse portfolio of sponsored research projects within Humanities and Social Sciences academic units.
Background
Prior to joining Princeton, Caroline served as Program Administrator at Rutgers University. She managed a diverse portfolio of research grants, foundations, contracts, and subawards. Caroline has worked at Rutgers for seven years supporting, coordinating, and managing sponsored projects. Caroline managed pre and post award, which encompassed financials, project management, human resources, and liaison for faculty internally and externally. Previously, she was a Grant Manager at New Jersey City University in their central office. Caroline provided cradle-to-grave support and managed post-award activity for numerous departments within the university. Caroline has worked in research administration since 2012. Prior to working with grants she managed a financial education program at a non-profit in Philadelphia; during her graduate career, she managed a women’s health campaign at a non-profit in New York City at the United Nations.
