Emily is responsible for the review and submission of proposals, contract negotiation, and grant acceptance. To ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and applicable state and federal regulations, she provides administrative guidance to both faculty and department administrators throughout the research lifecycle.
Background
Prior to joining ORPA, Emily was a Senior Research Contract/Grant Specialist in the Research and Sponsored Programs central administration office at Rutgers, The State University for 11+ years prior to joining Princeton. In her role, Emily supported the research faculty, postdoctoral associates and fellows, and graduate research assistants with various federal and non-federal sponsor submissions and award acceptance in both general research discipline, as well as in the medical / clinical research areas. Emily also was a research administrator in the central Research and Sponsored Programs office of the former UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine (now known as Rowan University; 2010-2012).
