Joe provides technical support and training related to hardware, software, and websites. He is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing computing issues. In addition, he manages the purchase, installation, configuration, and backup maintenance of all hardware and software for computers and other digital devices. With security in mind, this includes setting up links and maintaining pathways from office to home computers for Secure Remote Access. As the departmental computing support specialist (DCS), Joe is ORPA’s primary OIT liaison. In that capacity, he remains abreast of new developments through meetings, trainings, and forums. He then educates and trains the ORPA team, helping to optimize their use of various digital platforms, systems, and services.  


Prior to joining ORPA in 2015, Joe was the DCS in the Department of Finance and Treasury. He has been with the University since 2001.
