Maureen is responsible for sponsored research project administration, serving as liaison to a wide range of academic departments. In keeping with the high caliber of research conducted at Princeton, she offers guidance to faculty and department administrators throughout the sponsored research lifecycle. This includes assistance navigating the compliance landscape, from sponsor guidelines and state and federal regulations to private corporation or foundation regulations.  Maureen also leads the website team and develops and delivers curriculum for ORPA’s sponsored project administrator training.

Professional background

Maureen joined ORPA in 2002 and quickly took on a varied departmental workload. Before coming to Princeton, she spent nearly five years at Rutgers University in various research administration roles, from Acting Assistant Director of the Sponsored Research Office to Pre-Award Functional Team Lead for a critical integrated financial systems project. Prior to working in academia, Maureen spent more than 15 years as a renovation Project Manager for several New York City construction firms, managing multi-million-dollar projects involving up to 100 tradesmen.
