Bio/Description

Melody Snow has joined the Subcontracts Team of ORPA as a Subcontracts Administrator.  Melody obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Morgan State University and her M.H.S. Degree in Child and Adolescent Health from Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Policy.  With 16 years of experience in Research Administration.  Melody comes to Princeton from 10 years of experience in Subaward contracting at School of Medicine ORA for The Johns Hopkins University and then 6 years in Pre-award Administration for the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.  In her various roles at JHU, she gained invaluable experience in the areas of contracting, managing complex agreements in the federal, non-federal and clinical trial areas of subcontracts practice.   Switching to Pre-Award at UNC gave her a more complete perspective of Research Administration managing grant applications, budgeting, and sponsor reporting. Melody has varied experience in subcontract training and development, as a presenter at NCURA and SRA International conferences, as well as in policy and process development, project management and quantitative interviewing.   As the Subcontracts Administrator, Melody will take a lead in initiation and modification of complex subcontract issuance and will collaborate with the Subcontracts team in all areas of subcontract administration, special projects, as well as audit and compliance matters. In her private life, Melody enjoys crafting and volunteering for several organizations in her community in North Carolina.
